About Swole Journal
Who we are, how we work, and what you deserve to know.
Swole Journal is a training knowledge system built at the intersection of real-world experience and current exercise science — and we'll tell you exactly how.
Every teaching and program here is grounded in over 20 years of hands-on work training dedicated athletes, men, and women using these exact methods. That experience is the foundation. On top of it, we use Artificial Intelligence to conduct deep research dives into current exercise science, peer-reviewed literature, and performance data — allowing us to surface insights and connections that would take years to compile manually.
We believe in full transparency: AI helps us research faster and build content more thoroughly. The experience, judgment, and real-world application behind every decision? That's human. The combination is what makes this different.
All content goes through a multi-stage review process before it reaches you — research, AI-assisted research synthesis, and editorial review — to ensure what we share is current, evidence-aligned, and practically applicable.
A Note on Credentials & Your Health
I am not a licensed physician, registered dietitian, physical therapist, or credentialed exercise scientist. I do not hold a degree in kinesiology, sports science, or a related field. What I do have is two decades of direct experience developing and applying these training principles with real people — and a commitment to referencing and aligning with the best available science.
